Maverick News & Updates

Information About School Supplies

Planners are provided and required for every period. Replacement planners can be purchased at the Student Store as can other basic supplies. Replacement planners cost $5.00.

In order to be properly prepared for school, all students must have basic school supplies. This includes:

  • Paper
  • Pens and pencils
  • And a Notebook or Binder.

A backpack is suggested, (rolling backpack is good for growing backs), to carry all of the school supplies from class to class. Additional items that may be useful at school include:

  • Report Covers
  • Colored Pens
  • Ruler
  • Calculator

If any other item is needed for a class, the teacher will send home a note with the student.

RVMS Announces New Assistant Principals

Rancho Viejo Middle School is proud to welcome Lenichtka Reed and Jonathon Workman. John is a graduate of the Hemet Unified School District, West Valley High School, class of 1998. He has been in education for 11 years as a coach, teacher, coordinator, community liaison and now Assistant Principal. He is thrilled to be back in Hemet and is look forward to serving the students and community at Rancho Viejo very diligently.

Rancho Viejo Middle School Announces Colors & Mascot Selection

Rancho Viejo Middle School is proud to announce the Maverick has been chosen as the school mascot. Mavericks have been in hemet for several hundred years. Original ranchers named stock animals that roamed free and developed independent, spirited behaviors, "Mavericks." The school colors are dark blue and light blue.
