Academics at RVMS

As Rancho Viejo Mavericks we pride ourselves on education. There are several incentives, called Rancho Rewards to help keep students motivated throughout the year.

Rancho Rewards

Ongoing Incentives

1. Renaissance Card: Platinum, Gold, Silver and White cards issues each semester for academic excellence. These entitle students to special privileges throughout the year.
2. 100% Club: All work completed per triad.
3. Top Maverick: Nominated by staff monthly as the model Maverick as demonstrated by outstanding citizenship.
4. Student of the Month: Selected by each department monthly for academic excellence.
5. Maverick Pride Passes: Awarded to students with good behavior. Names are entered into a weekly drawing for special prizes and privileges.

End of the Year Awards

1. Perfect Attendance: Did not miss even one period of class or have any tardies.
2. Excellent Attendance: Did not miss one day of school, may have missed one period and/or less than five tardies or independent study candidate.
