Helen Hunt Jackson STUDENTS are a diverse group of individuals with a common goal—to graduate with a high school diploma. In general HHJ students are self-starters who want greater flexibility, a smaller campus, an individualized program, or an academic or personal fresh start. HHJ students are motivated and determined, learn to manage their time better, take personal responsibility for their education, and literally accelerate by “doing double duty” to make up credit deficiencies.

Helen Hunt Jackson was awarded the 2009 Riverside County Model of Excellence Flag
Students meet once a week with a CREDENTIALED TEACHER for course assignments. Laboratory experiences on campus are available to provide additional support. Teachers are available for additional assistance as needed. On-line classes are easily accessible. An additional option is available for students interested in a year-round learning calendar, as well as the traditional school schedule.
HELEN HUNT JACKSON is designed to accommodate personal circumstances, such as health, parenting, and other individual needs. Our students either graduate from HHJ or make up credits and return to their neighborhood schools, then on to work or college. No matter what their individual needs are, HHJ students leave us prepared for the next steps in their bright futures.
