This
is one of three factory built Porsche 917-30's. It has a horizontally
opposed 7.4 liter 12 cylinder engine with twin turbos. It puts out 1400
horse power and has a top speed of 270 mph. It was the winner of the
1972-1973 Can-Am racing circuit. The following year the rules were changed
so that this car would not qualify. It won 11 out of 12 races that season
and broke down during one race and did not finish.
