Vision

The vision for the Professional Development department for the Hemet Unified School District is one where quality professional development is offered and is aligned with the California Standards for the Teaching Profession. The process that is used for selecting all offerings was one that was developed with this vision in mind, as well as responding to the needs of all who work to educate the students we serve. We are here to support professional learning at all levels.

The Professional Development teams facilitates the professional growth all staff deserves by providing:

The Professional Development team supports all district staff and the district in realizing and achieving academic excellence.

Collaborative & Purposeful

Academic Coaching and other programs are designed to foster individual and collective professional growth. Training opportunities support the District’s mission “to provide a high level, balanced, flexible educational delivery system” by:

• Providing a forum for career enrichment.
• Enhancing employee knowledge and skills.
• Impacting performance levels.
• Rigorous analysis of services and needs.
• Addressing state & federal government mandates.
