    Vocational Education (Carl Perkins Plan)
The Hemet Unified School District receives funds under the Perkins Act to improve vocational and technical education programs. These programs are intended to strengthen the academic, vocational and technical skills of the students. The program also provides students with experience in and understanding of all aspects of an industry, and improves and expands the use of technology in vocational and technical education. The funds provide for professional staff development programs for teachers, counselors and administrators, and to link secondary programs to post secondary vocational and technical educational programs.
