Important DocumentsThe Information Technology department provides technology support to all school sites and district departments with district supported software applications, peripherals, login identification, passwords, hardware repair and general information regarding technical support. Listed below is a brief list of things IT staff manage:
IT also provides guidelines for technology related purchases. If you have any questions about new technology, please feel free to contact the Help Desk at extenstion 5580. Read more about the Help Desk functions. Currently IT Computer Technicians are on a rotating schedule of site visits. The goal is to address all work orders for a site on the scheduled IT visit day. Items requiring immediate attention will be addressed as quickly as possible, outside of the schedule. Please view the IT calendar to see your school site's scheduled day. The rotating schedule may be viewed in GroupWise by proxying to the Help Desk calendar. Site visits are shown as a Task. See IT FAQ to find out how to proxy. |

All requests for Information Technology (IT) department assistance should be submitted to the Help Desk via phone or e-mail. You may reach the Help Desk at 765-5100, extension 5580 or by e-mail at helpdesk@hemetusd.k12.ca.us (Help Desk in the Novell GroupWise address book). When calling or e-mailing into the Help Desk, please provide the following information:
