Background

Dr. Lisa DeForest has made the Inland Empire her home for over 30 years, and Hemet for over 10 years. She attended Cal Poly Pomona, where she worked on her Bachelors and Masters in Microbiology. In 1996, Dr. Lisa DeForest graduated from Los Angles College of Chiropractic.

A love for education is what brought her to teach Anatomy and Physiology at Mt. San Jacinto College. Devotion to her community is the reason she Co-Founded Valley Watch.Org, Chairs the United Ways Women’s Leadership Council, and is on the Ramona Animal Shelter board.

Voted Women of the Year by the Hemet/San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce is one of many community awards that she has received. Dr. DeForest and her husband Lance have two children, one which attends Cawston Elementary and the other will be starting very soon. Dr. DeForest can be found every chance she gets with her family, playing baseball, soccer, or hiking the local mountains.
